For image-based state assessment in industrial dust environments, Winge completed the enclosure and internal layout, infrared grayscale algorithm, embedded application and RS485 configuration utility, integrating acquisition, decision, live display and control output on an RV1126 terminal.

CASE DETAIL
The project covers industrial terminal design, infrared imaging, grayscale processing, embedded software, field communication and a companion configuration utility.
The terminal captures site imagery with an SC3336 camera, calculates the full-frame mean grayscale value and compares it with a threshold on RV1126. A 480×480 display shows the live image, current grayscale value, threshold and NORMAL or ALARM state. The terminal also receives threshold values and sends state-specific control data over RS485.
The enclosure, component layout, algorithm, communication and companion tool were integrated around a single onboard operating target.
Defined the terminal form, front-panel information hierarchy, branded boot screen and status interface so image, grayscale, threshold and operating state remain visible together.
Integrated the camera, infrared illumination, 480×480 display, processor board and RS485 interface while accounting for viewing angle, connections and assembly.
