Winge Technology Co., Ltd. has completed the phased real-machine adaptation verification of assembly integrity and incorrect and missing assembly detection software on Atlas 200I DK A2. The current system has been connected to USB/UVC cameras, OK standard images, ROI detection rules, snapshot and continuous detection entrances, result evidence, Chinese and English Web interfaces, and version release and rollback links, providing a software foundation for the subsequent system integration of fully China-localized cameras, lenses, light sources, I/O and formal commercial software environments.
This "completion" means that the detection software and algorithm application have been run on the Huawei Ascend Atlas 200I DK A2, and the camera access, configuration process, detection call and project delivery link have been completed. Independent OK/NG accuracy, production cycle time and long-term stability will be accepted based on specific products, samples and workstation conditions.
What work has been completed in this Atlas adaptation verification?
The adaptation work is not to copy the original program to the development board, but to complete the step-by-step processing around the device environment, image input, operation process and delivery maintenance.
As of August 30, 2026, the current software version is v1.0.4. The main tasks include:
- Deploy assembly visual inspection services on Atlas 200I DK A2;
- Connect to the USB/UVC video device and OpenCV acquisition link under Linux;
- Establish the OK reference image collection, saving and switching process;
- Configure two ROI assembly detection rules, P1 and P2;
- Supports missing-part assembly, wrong-part assembly and combination of abnormal configurations;
- Establish Chinese and English pages for quick configuration, video detection, result viewing, etc.;
- Save detection status, abnormal information, evidence diagrams and result records;
- Establish immutable release directories, configuration backups, file hashes, and previous version rollback points;
- Completed Python and front-end automation regression of v1.0.4.
The current equipment has been able to discover 4 accessible video devices, and the existing workstation configuration saves 3 OK reference image and 2 ROI rules. This data is used to illustrate the current status of the camera and configuration links, and is not an indicator of detection accuracy or complete production line capabilities.
Why complete the Huawei Ascend Atlas platform operation and workstation process verification first?
Assembly vision projects first need to confirm whether the image is stable, whether defects are visible, whether ROI is reasonable, whether the rules can express quality requirements, and how the inspection results correspond to the physical workpiece. Only by connecting the platform operation, camera collection, detection rules and result evidence can there be a clear basis for subsequent workstation acceptance.
The current version uses reference image, image registration and ROI local comparison, which is suitable for the R&D stage with fixed workstations and few samples. Detection software and algorithm applications are already running on the Huawei Ascend Atlas device. In the future, if the product has large posture changes, complex backgrounds, many categories, or requires stronger semantic recognition, the object detection, classification, or segmentation model can be expanded based on actual samples.

Winge Technology will start from the current Atlas software foundation and access Chinese industrial cameras, Chinese lenses, Chinese light sources, Chinese I/O and formal commercial software environments to form a fully China-localized assembly visual inspection system.
Highlights for the next phase include:
- Refreeze field of view, working distance and exposure parameters using Chinese imaging configuration;
- Reacquire the OK reference image covering normal fluctuations;
- Establish missing, wrongly installed, offset, blocked and undecidable samples;
- Connect to Chinese I/O or PLC to verify triggering and result output;
- Confirm official commercial operating system, driver and runtime versions;
- Complete false positives, false negatives, UNKNOWN rate, rhythm and continuous operation acceptance;
- Connect to MES, database or local business system according to project needs.
This plan does not require the complete BOM or supplier list to be disclosed on the official website. Before the joint debugging of the complete system is completed, the external status of the project will remain as "fully China-localized solution under development"; after completion, the progress of joint debugging and acceptance of the system will be announced based on the actual results.

- Interface preparation before entering Chinese imaging and control configuration.
Each project still needs to complete formal acceptance using independent sample sets and on-site beats before being released for production quality. The reference image, parameter adjustment chart and acceptance chart should be isolated from each other, and adjacent video frames cannot be used to calibrate and calculate accuracy at the same time.

Has a purely China-made machine been formed?
