Service requirements observation
Start STM32 sensor acquisition-board development by converting external signals into a checkable interface definition, then select the MCU and acquisition design. STM32 is a product family, not a specification of one device's ADC, DMA, memory or pins. This is a service requirements observation, not news of a new customer project or delivery.
Inputs for the first requirements assessment
Swipe the table horizontally to view all columns.
| Input object | Information to establish | Work directly affected |
|---|---|---|
| Sensor outputs | Full part numbers, analog or digital interface, range, units and source impedance | Signal conditioning, input protection and interface selection |
| Channels and timing | Channel count, per-channel sampling target, simultaneity, timestamps and triggers | MCU resources, acquisition scheduling and buffering |
| Data destination | Raw or processed values, reporting frequency, protocol and disconnection behavior | Firmware, communication and host-software responsibilities |
| Power and mechanics | Supply, loads, connectors, wiring, dimensions and site conditions | Board design, power and mechanical interfaces |
| Existing baseline | Schematics, buildable project, toolchain, prototypes and known faults | Reuse scope and initial review workload |
Define sampling frequency, reporting frequency and display refresh separately. Faster reporting does not automatically improve measurement accuracy. Validate error, synchronization and sustained operation under the actual sensor and system conditions.
Choosing the first work package
Use the interface inventory to check missing information, device resources and conflicts. Establish scope and a verification plan before deciding on schematic, PCB, prototype and driver work. List engineering separately from fabrication, components, instruments, mechanical parts and on-site support. Agree amounts and milestones after confirming inputs.
The first phase can deliver an interface table, resource allocation, missing-information list and target-board verification items. Do not present unbuilt prototypes or unperformed accuracy tests as completed work.
What an existing sensor project can illustrate
The Chinese-language nine-axis inertial orientation and BLE project report uses nRF52840, BNO086 and SPI. It illustrates the need for consistent interface semantics across acquisition, orientation data and communication. It is not an STM32 project and does not prove that its performance transfers to another system. An STM32 project needs new checks against its selected part, sensor and actual board.
Submit the inputs through the Chinese-language hardware development service for circuit design. For drivers, buffers and task interaction, consult the Chinese-language MCU acquisition firmware service. Define responsibilities before integration.
